BearingPoint is seeking a highly experienced Senior Manager to spearhead our Ivalua implementation practice, with a particular focus on scaling and managing offshore delivery excellence in India. This is a dual-impact role combining deep technical ownership of end-to-end Ivalua solutions with strategic leadership of a growing India-based delivery team.
The ideal candidate bridges high-level client strategy and hands-on technical execution, ensuring that the Ivalua “Evolver” solution is configured, integrated, and delivered to the highest quality standards.
Primary Functions and Tasks:
1. Offshore Leadership & Team Growth
Team Building: Design, establish, and scale a high-performing Ivalua delivery hub in India.
People Management: Lead a core local team and a larger offshore delivery group, with a strong focus on career development, capability building, and performance consistency.
Knowledge Transfer: Act as the primary lead trainer for offshore resources, ensuring continuous alignment with Ivalua’s product roadmap and best practices.
2. Technical Mastery & Delivery
Technical Authority: Own and lead end-to-end Ivalua implementations, ensuring excellence across configuration and integration.
L3 Configuration Expertise: Provide Level 3 expertise in advanced Ivalua configuration, including workflows, data models, and UI customization.
Integration Architecture: Oversee complex integrations between Ivalua and client ERP or third-party systems.
3. Functional Subject Matter Expertise
Procurement Expertise: Apply deep functional knowledge across the full Source-to-Pay (S2P) lifecycle, including:
SRM & Sourcing: Supplier lifecycle management and strategic sourcing events
P2P: Requisitioning, purchase order management, and accounts payable automation
Spend Analytics & Power BI: Advanced analytics to drive procurement insights and executive reporting
4. Client & Requirement Management
Client Engagement: Act as the primary client contact, translating complex business requirements into scalable and robust technical designs.
Requirement Orchestration: Ensure a seamless transition from client workshops to offshore development execution.
We are looking for:
Experience: 15+ years in professional services or consulting, with a strong and proven focus on end-to-end Ivalua implementations.
Technical Skills:
Certified or equivalent expertise in Ivalua L3 configuration
Strong integration experience (APIs, middleware, flat files)
Domain Knowledge: Deep understanding of procurement processes, including Sourcing, SRM, P2P, and Spend Analytics.
Leadership: Demonstrated experience in building and managing offshore teams in India and establishing centers of excellence.
Communication: Ability to engage effectively with both C-level stakeholders and technical delivery teams.
Operational Principles for the Role
To ensure success in this Senior Manager role, the following principles apply:
Quality Gatekeeping: No offshore code or configuration is delivered to the client without final technical validation by the Senior Manager.
24-Hour Bridge: Act as the primary bridge between onshore requirements and offshore execution, ensuring clarifications are resolved within 24 hours.
Standardization First: All Ivalua “Evolver” solutions must follow standardized configuration templates to ensure maintainability and smooth upgrades.
Mentorship over Management: Dedicate at least 20% of time to actively training and mentoring the India-based team to reduce dependency on onshore senior resources.
Data Integrity: Ensure all Spend Analytics and Power BI outputs are validated against source systems prior to client presentation.
