Primary Functions and Tasks:

• Environment Deployment Management: Oversee and manage deployments across Production and lower environments, ensuring seamless and consistent releases.
• Automation and Process Improvement: Develop and implement strategies to automate and enhance development, testing, and release processes, focusing on efficiency and reliability.
• Collaboration with Development Teams: Work closely with software development teams to ensure adherence to established processes, ensuring that all development work aligns with intended functionality and performance standards.
• Security and Compliance: Ensure that all systems and processes are secure and compliant with cybersecurity standards, proactively identifying and mitigating potential threats.
• Problem Identification and Resolution: Identify technical issues within the deployment process and develop or deploy software updates and fixes to resolve these issues effectively.
• Lifecycle Monitoring and Process Optimization: Continuously monitor and evaluate processes throughout the software lifecycle, creating or updating processes as needed to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
• Promotion of Automation: Advocate for and implement automated processes wherever feasible, driving towards a more streamlined and error-resistant operational environment.

We are looking for: 

1. Azure Services and ARM Templates:

• In-depth knowledge of Azure services and expertise in creating and managing infrastructure using ARM templates and Bicep.

• Ability to configure Azure resources such as App Services, Networking, Storage, and Security for the cloned instances.

2. Scripting and Automation:

• Proficiency in scripting languages like PowerShell to automate tasks related to instance provisioning, configuration, and data migration.

• Experience with Azure DevOps for orchestrating CI/CD pipelines and automation workflows.

3. Data Migration and Synchronization:

• Experience in planning and executing data migration strategies, including database replication, synchronization, and validation.

• Knowledge of tools and techniques for efficient and reliable data transfer between Azure environments.

4. Testing and Validation:

• Strong testing and validation skills to ensure the functionality, performance, and compliance with business requirements.

• Familiarity with testing frameworks and methodologies for Non-Functional Requirements (NFR) testing in Azure environments.

5. Communication and Collaboration:

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to coordinate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and third-party vendors.

• Ability to articulate technical concepts and provide assistance to team members and stakeholders.

6. Problem-Solving and Troubleshooting:

• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills to assist in addressing technical challenges and issues encountered during the cloning process.

• Capacity to analyze complex scenarios, identify root causes, and contribute to implementing effective solutions to ensure project success.
